Gulp, the first major draft of the new Barrier Diet and Protocol aimed at gluten- and multiple-sensitives has just left my keyboard and been sent to several guinea pig readers!
It has been a mammoth task, taken over a year to research and develop so far and will no doubt evolve still further as time goes on (daily currently!). But you have to draw a line in the sand and start somewhere so that’s what I’ve done.
Feeling a bit nervous that my baby is now ‘out there’. Will they understand it? Will it flow? Aargh….
Wish me luck.
owaaaah you have been a busy bee today!!!! Makes sooo much sense about the bariers tho. Honestly can’t wait to read about it! I think you hit it spot on, and often not only gut needs to heal, but other barrieres as well. Focusing too much on just healing the gut may be -for some- not enough to heal..
Thanks Nele, I hope so, for all of our sakes!
can,t wait to see how it works out.Good luck.
Thanks, Joan. Neither can I. I am so close to it now, it will be nice to have other people look at it. I hope!
Looking forward to reading this…good luck!
Thanks Karen.
Good Lord, woman – if four days holiday engenders this amount of activity, what would you be like after a month?….. But CONGRATULATIONS on the barrier plan – and delighted that the coeliac experts are falling into line behind you!! I am sure that you are onto something really crucial here and very much look forward to its further development.
Ha, don’t know about falling in line behind me, just we are getting there together, I think! Yes, I was a busy bee yesterday. I got a lot done before my break and then finished them all yesterday so it looks like I did loads. Thought you were fab on BBC Food prog by the way; I wish I could be that confident and erudite on radio, I clam up if someone puts a microphone or camera in front of me!
Well done Micki!
Please let me know when it comes out, I really would like to read it.
