Having said we would never update this TGF Master List again, Christine and I have updated it every few months and now decided to overhaul it completely!
I realised it is now several years since I created the first version of this – and the research for that took me two years, so I worried that some of the information was becoming obselete. We’ve been merrily adding and changing stuff as we come across it but we decided that much of the original info from the three main suppliers had likely changed, not least because their policies and labelling has changed quite recently too in some cases (Allergy Research mainly). When recommending products for patients, I was tending to stick to what I know Christine and I have checked in the last year or so to be on the safe side.
With that in mind, we have totally overhauled the list and removed a lot of the original products. Many of them are still TGF safe, but we’ve not checked them recently enough to have them on the list – and our aim with it is to keep you safe and symptom-free! If you are doing well on the ones you’re taking, they’re probably fine for you. Most of the problems tend to come in what we term the hypersensitives; those of us (me included sometimes) who will react to the tiniest bit of grain or dairy used in the fermentation process during manufacture, for example. That’s why we try to keep the list as strict as possible.
So, please do download this new version. We will also put it in the TGF Facebook group files as always along with a list of changes to be added to the next update. That means you have the information as we have it. We will obviously keep adding to it as we go along – and Christine is valiantly trying to get links for every product for your convenience.
Meantime, here is the blurb about it for you – and a plea for help to finance the darn thing that takes a huge amount of work for Christine and I almost daily! We hope it’s useful and worth all our efforts for you…
This 55 page ebook is absolutely vital if you are grain-sensitive, especially to corn. The supplements we take are often part of the reason we don’t get as well as we should – because they contain ingredients derived from grains. They may not look like they come from grains, but they do – and it causes grain-sensitives a real problem as even the tiniest bit used in processing can cause symptoms and certainly scupper healing. I found this in my own case and there started the never-ending process of finding truly grain and dairy free supplements! It really is a minefield – we have even had to educate manufacturers many times on how the ingredients in their products are made! Christine (my specialist TGF supplement assistant) and I spend an awful lot of time trying to raise awareness of this hidden problem and trying to find ‘safer’ supplements that will actually help rather than harm you. I have lost count of the number of times people have thanked us profusely for this work, saving them time, money and suffering. Do yourself a favour and use the hard work we’ve done – and keep doing – for you.
It’s our free gift to the sensitives among us as we know how much damage taking the wrong stuff can do. In return, please use the links and suppliers in the book to give us some commission. It doesn’t cost you any more, but it gives me a bit of commission that then helps me pay for Christine’s assistance and all the time we spend researching, badgering suppliers and updating it for you. If you can afford to, please donate £5 here to help us keep it going: www.paypal.me/PureHealthClinic/5. Bless your cotton socks x
I truly hope it helps.
