In general, use Cyrex 12 Pathogen screen to see if you are immunologically reacting to anything that could be triggering or exacerbating health problems.
Gut Infections
Check the Gut Test page for candida, bacterial infections, parasites, H pylori etc.
Urinary Tract Infections
For urinary infections, use the Invivo Urinary Ecologix. There is a more comprehensive one here too, but the Invivo one is usually fine: MicroGenDx Women’s UTI test. Or there is a Men’s UTI test. here. For the MicroGenDx ones, you provide a urine sample and two vaginal swabs. This is a PCR test that detects bacteria and fungus by their DNA, and once your doctors know the bug, they can prescribe the right medication. You can also use the lab’s referral service to access the correct antibiotics etc privately. The lab has demonstrated 96.1% concordance with culture and 12 years of CAP proficiency test results with 99.2% accuracy. Compare each test to check you are getting what you need tested.
Oral/Mouth/Gum/Periodontal Infections
Use Invivo’s Oral Ecologix test.
Vaginal Infections
Use Invivo’s Vaginal Ecologix test. This measures common bacterial and fungal infections by PCR technology.
