Book Review: We All Want Impossible Things

This is such a lovely book by Catherine Newman. The premise isn’t particularly funny as two friends of 40 years look at their lives through the prism of Edi dying in a hospice, but it is actually very life-affirming and witty.

Very warm, searingly-honest at times, quirky and heart-breaking, I enjoyed it. If you’d like a book about female friendship that will have you tittering but also needing the hankies out, you might enjoy this one.

You can get it here.
