As you may already be aware The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members, which includes Royal Mail workers, to take strike action on 26th and 31st August, and the 8th and 9th September 2022.
This will obviously affect test kits coming to you and when you return samples. Please be mindful of the strike and use couriers (eg. DHL) if you can to make sure your samples are delivered in a viable time. If they are held up, you will probably have to do repeat samples.
In the meantime, I wish the postal workers – and all workers – a fair wage for the important jobs they do. It’s a shame people have to resort to such disruptive measures!
