Bone-Building Smoothie

Great idea for a bone-building smoothie for you today, courtesy of Biocare.

This creamy, delicious smoothie is packed with all the key nutrients needed to support your musculoskeletal health, including calcium, magnesium, vitamin D3, K2 (as MK-7), as well as the lesser known boron, manganese and horsetail extract for naturally-occurring silicon.


  • 1 heaped teaspoon Osteo Intensive
  • 1/3 teaspoon of Vitamin C Powder
  • 1.5 tablespoon coconut or soya yogurt
  • 300ml almond or other plant milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond or other nut or seed butter
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 teaspoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon chia nibs
  • Sprinkle cacao nibs

You could always add extra Vitamin D in balance with Vitamin K2 if your Vitamin D test results show you need more than 1000iu per day.
