Really interesting issue this month from Rick Hanson’s Wise Brain Bulletin on dealing with strong emotions.
Do have a read and follow some of the exercises. I really liked the calm anchor one and the tip about allowing a ‘pause’ between event and reaction to allow the cortex to kick in and not the amygdala!
