Hot on the heels of the earlier post about gluten and psoriasis comes another study, this time advising a gluten free diet for demyelinating nerve diseases including multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica. The researchers concluded:
Treatment with a gluten-free diet can provide considerable benefits to the patients having both a gluten-related disorder and one of these 2 demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system.

Thank you for sharing this. I believe this is just the tip of the ice berg and hopefully somebody will develop and invest more research in to this area to help people who suffer from these disorders.
