As promised here a couple of weeks ago, I have now written you a TGF safe version of the Candida Plan for those of you who need to be totally grain free. I have included some treatment for candida within the Barrier Plan, but, let’s face it, this little blighter can sometimes be difficult to get under control and some of you will inevitably need the full comprehensive treatment approach.
Why is the standard Candida Plan not right for you?
Simply because corn and other grain-derived ingredients are ubiquitous (and very, very well hidden) in supplements. Just consuming those in your supplement protocol is enough to prevent your gut from healing and your immune system from being strong enough to fight interlopers like candida, bacteria etc. You need a totally grain-free protocol, and that’s what I have given you here.
The Truly Gluten Free Candida Plan
How to test and treat candida, this 60 page ebook is based on the 12 week clinic protocol I have used for patients for over a decade, and it has rarely ever let me down. I have been using the TGF safe one for about 18 months and it too is working really well.
It includes effective testing, the candida diet, a detailed and product-specific TGF safe supplement protocol (available internationally by mail order), relapse and therapy failure checklist for stubborn cases, hygiene guidelines to prevent re-infection, a full product guide appendix and how to get support.
I even updated it only last week with the most recent research:
I have always included enzymes in my protocol as they are known to help break down the cell walls of the candida yeast. But, I learned recently that specific enzymes target specific bits of the cell wall and using the right ones can speed this process up.
…a yeast cell wall contains approximately 30 to 60 percent glucan which is composed of cellulose and hemicellulose, 25 to 50 percent mannan (mannoprotein), 1 to 2 percent chitin, 2 to 14 percent lipid, and 5 to 15 percent protein.
So, I have swapped the enzyme formula I usually use and found one that targets this information and cell wall make-up specifically. It also contains saccharomyces boulardii to discourage the fungus from adhering to the gut wall and to lower inflammation. A triple-whammy effect.
So, this research has now been added into the Candida Plan for you to make it even more effective. I’m right on it, you know!

Most people are clear of candida within 8-12 weeks in my clinical experience: a lot faster than the two years it took me many moons ago, thank goodness!
And here is a reply straightaway for my most commonly asked question:
Is the diet enough to kill Candida?
Sadly, no. The special diet is vital to diminish the number of fungi but you will need the protocol in addition as nobody can starve candida to death. In emergency, when it’s dying off, candida can switch to a protein metabolism and when seriously starved they start penetrating the intestinal lining to get sugars from the blood. This provokes the danger of a systemic fungal infection, which can cause even worse problems.
In short, you need an effective protocol, the hygiene guidelines and the diet to get it licked. And that’s why I’ve written the plan as I’m sick of hearing of people who have followed the candida diet for ages, sometimes for years, when actually testing suggests it wasn’t candida at all and they didn’t test effectively (through poor advice often) OR they didn’t have a comprehensive enough protocol to get the job done and keep it done. In a TGF case, this would also be because they depressed the immune system by using grains in the diet and supplement protocols.
Simple when you know how, though…
You can read part of the Intro on the updated Candida Health A-Z Factsheets page on the website and can download your copy of the TGF treatment plan here. As usual, I have made it cheap as chips for you and given you the whole treatment plan for £20. Bargain.
Two plans in two weeks! I’m off for a lie down. Not. Tons to do… but I will just have a slice of the pecan, banana and cranberry cake I made this morning for just such treat times. Yum.
