100% Healthy?

A quick thought for you today as this is something I have been thinking about a lot since my scores started to come down and, more importantly, stay down.  I was wondering whether now I am down to 20s/30s/40s (blips depending), whether I would get to zero.

Will we get to be 100% healthy?

What do you think? Do you think that’s achievable?

Personally, I don’t think any such thing exists and that’s an important thing to accept in this game. I don’t think anyone ever feels 100% healthy.

We have to accept there are limits for everyone, not just people with auto-immune/allergy disorders like us, but everyone, and the trick is to realise when we have hit a good place and enjoy it! Our particular bodies are probably not ever going to be perfect, but by following the TGF and Barrier Plans, we are giving it the best shot we can.

What we can aim for is getting as low a score as possible and keeping it there. That may mean restricted diets, supplements to maintain nutrient levels and constant vigilance. It may not (we can hope!). I think at the start of your plan, if you’re anything like me, your aim is to simply feel better by getting rid of or at least vastly reducing your key disabling symptoms. Next, you want to focus on stopping the disease process so you don’t get worse in future. Finally, you want to get 100% healthy. But that should read ‘get as close to 100% healthy as you can’. Am I right?

Useful to muse sometimes.

  1. Update: A also informs me that he had “yeast ‘all over the place’ in the blood in his first test, but last week there was none at all. And I could see that for myself.” Excellent news, has fought of candida and brought his inflammation down. He has been having ozone and Vit C infusions too so I’m sure that has helped to speed him along.

  2. Update: “And I’ve now increased my diet to include prawns – with no adverse side effects. These were Young’s wild prawns caught in the north Atlantic. Lovely! I’m also able to have beetroot (though not at the same time as the prawns).”

Fab news. Prawn stirfries and curries back on the menu hopefully.
