Sounds like a good band name, that! Seriously, did you know that the leafy tops of leeks contain the most nutrition? But guess what we throw away? Save and add them to stock or try shredding them and use them in a stir-fry.
Whilst I’m on the subject, what about the inners of cauliflower? That white hearty bit is full of flavour, nutrients and fibre. Don’t chuck it away. Use it raw in salads, in your stock or cook it up with potato to enrich and flavour your mash. Yum.
