Men are notoriously reticent about health problems, especially to do with their bits, but now there is no need to sit there and squirm as you can ask any prostate-related questions anonymously and free as part of a patient-led research project by the European Men’s Health Forum (EMHF).
Here is the blurb about the project for you. A useful exercise, I think, so get involved if it appeals to you and yours. Simply go to www.yourprostate.eu for more info and to take part.
About this project
This website is run by the European Men’s Health Forum (EMHF). It has provided a resource for men to ask questions in an anonymous setting about any aspect of prostate health and be answered by a highly qualified health professional.
This will enable us to gather information from men across Europe on their experience of developing problems involving the prostate, seeking support, diagnosis and treatment, and the responses they have had from health service providers in regard to these issues.
We will use what we hear from men to produce a report for use by professionals and policy makers to aid them in dealing with men’s prostate related healthcare. This will be made available on this website, so check back here if you are interested in reading it.
