A beautiful, gentle, soothing soap suitable for all those with sensitive or dry skin, including babies and children. It’s non-drying, fragrance free, made with a blend of olive oil steeped in calendula flowers and enriched with moisturising cocoa butter. No essential oils.
A totally natural soap, handmade in the UK by cold process, quite velvety lather, lasts ages, a real treat for everyday – and why not?! Made from plants oils and butters, preserved only by rosemary extract. All that loveliness is wrapped in gorgeous floral paper so a delight in a bowl in your bathroom, as a guest soap or given as a gift.
Obviously, you won’t get too much of the oils in a soap, but there’s enough to give some therapeutic benefit. It’s great for dry, sensitive skin as it’s balancing and calendula is a well-known anti-inflammatory so can help reduce redness or irritation.
Vegan, no nasties, no added parfum nonsense, nothing artificial added. Recyclable or recycled packaging, no plastics. Never tested on animals.
Ingredients
Sodium olivate, Sodium cocoate, Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium cocoa butterate, Calendula officinalis flower, Sodium castorate (castor), Helianthus annuus seed oil (sunflower), Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract. No palm oil.
Each bar of soap weighs a minimum of 105 grams and measures approximately 9cm (l) x 6cm (w) x 2 cm(d) As a handmade soap, you may find each bar varies a little in shape and colour.
You might also like: the marigold/calendula oil and the other Soap Folk rose-geranium soap, my fave! You could use this soap to wash and follow up with a little of the calendula oil massaged in if your hands are cracked, red or sore. Would work a treat! The rose-geranium soap smells absolutely gorgeous so is a real treat for you or as a gift. Enjoy!
