Top Sauna Tips for Detoxing Effectively

Couple of sauna tips for you from Mineral Check in my inbox today:

Cold shower or rub your skin with a cold flannel before you sauna to remove any toxins/heavy metals on your skin so you don’t absorb them. Chuck the flannels in the wash afterwards. Then cold shower/flannel afterwards to make sure you close your pores and don’t absorb any that have been released by the heat.

Doing saunas can raise inflammation and oxidative stress in some people – it’s hot in there! Take some glutathione, the master antioxidant – before you sauna to make sure you can process the oxidation and toxins effectively. This is my fave. Not cheap, but it’s a fab form that is actually usable in the body – many are not.

If it’s too much, use NAC, the precursor, or a mixed antioxidant formula instead.
