Nasal Bacteria May Predict Skin Infections

Here’s an interesting one for you – levels of bacteria in your nose may give a good prediction of later skin infections.

I spied this and it reminded me of something that happened the other day. I went to a friend’s house and one of her children had a nasty flare up of something on their stomach skin. I asked what the doc had given and was somewhat surprised (and then pleased at the initiative shown) when they said an antibiotic nasal spray!

I wonder if the doc had just read about this!?
