ESTHER WILL BE PLEASED – KNOBBLY CARROTS ARE BACK!

These will go on sale again after the scrapping of the EU rules dictating the size & shape of fruit & veg.  This is to cut red tape amid complaints from growers & farmers forced to throw away good produce.  Twenty percent of the British harvest is thrown away to comply with EU regulations and this is calculated to add 40% to the price of some veg.  But, the regulations on banana curvature will remain because no growers complained!
