Chemists in Germany have found a way to lessen the allergy potential of eggs – which is a big deal especially for kids as it is the leading allergen in childhood. They discovered that heating the egg to a high temperature and adding enzymes helped break down the allergy proteins and made it much less likely children would react to them. It will be a while before they become available, so in the meantime, keep doing what we have always done and give your allergic children Junior Digestaid – guess what? – enzymes to help them break it down.
