Hot on the heels of the earlier post about gluten and psoriasis comes another study, this time advising a gluten free diet for demyelinating nerve diseases including multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica. The researchers concluded:

Treatment with a gluten-free diet can provide considerable benefits to the patients having both a gluten-related disorder and one of these 2 demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system.
