I’m never drinking again!

Or: ouch my head hurts. Top tip to avoid a hangover this season.

For those of us who imbibe a little more than usual over the festive holidays, this is a really useful tip I learned years ago. And it works.

Get a good, pure Milk Thistle. Take 1 before you go out, one during and one when you come back. If you forget, take two when you come back. It will really help avoid that horrid, queasy, headache.

Peppermint Complex can also help – solves all manner of stomach discomfort, and so does homeopathic Nux Vom, which is useful if you are on other meds as it won’t affect anything. Both latter products fit nicely in your bag or pocket so you can pop some onto your tongue or in some water when you need a little help to stop that queasy feeling.

Not that I’m advocating over-indulgence, mind, but I’m nothing if not realistic. I’d better make sure I’ve got some in; that Cava and Shiraz is not going to drink itself!

Retiring, but loads of help still here!
