I would also add, of course, that it makes a huge difference what red meat you actually eat too. I only eat 100% grass fed, free range, high muscle meat which I buy from a farm I trust and would never touch lower grades – horsemeat or not! I always say that if you eat a high fat, low muscle meat (like the majority of stuff available especially chicken nowadays), then you will become what you eat – high fat, no muscle! If you eat good fat, high muscle meat, guess what will happen to you…? Yep, lean muscle mass like the meat you are eating! Simples.
